Blogging experience

I am fairly new to blogging but I see it as a great way to allow students to share their thoughts and writing with a wider audience. It also allows parents to gain access to work samples that they might not otherwise see. Using a system like Blogger, and many others like it, allows you as the teacher to regulate who comments in a given blog and what comments are allowed to be viewed. This level of control is especially important when you are working with school children of any age. It also gives parents a bit more confidence knowing that their children aren't going to be allowed to interact with just anyone who cares to comment.
